About Us

Our History

Everything started when Ricardo Da Silva started Diablo Valley Futsal League (DVFL). The league sparkled the love for the futsal game in Rodrigo Da Silva's teammates of his soccer team (DVSC Milan).

Coach Ricardo Da Silva started training only that team and taking the team to US Futsal sanctioned tournaments. Other teams started to be interested and that's how the Diablos Elite Academy was born.

Later, Rodrigo Da Silva, a couple of his DVSC teammates, and some young-adult players from the first Diablo Elite Academy, were together playing for Diablos semi-pro futsal team winning their first league appearance in 2016.

Some coaches worked with coach Ricardo Da Silva, learned the basics of the game, worked with Diablos and helped the Academy and the love for that game to grow.

Adult Team

A professional Futsal team was formed to participate in the inaugural season of the NAPFL in California.

The team was formed as a natural progression of 16+ years of grassroots development through Diablo Valley Futsal youth leagues and training programs in the East Bay area.

At that moment, the objective, as a club, was to create a path for youth players to continue playing Futsal in the highest level possible, representing the San Francisco Bay Area.

Players for that adult team started well playing at the Regionals Tournament in 2015. The chemistry started at that tournament!

Some of the players became coaches with Diablos as well as for other clubs, but well known to Diablos were: Elisama Padilla Jr. and Rodrigo Da Silva
